convert.pics uses libheif-js 1.19.8 to decode HEIC/HEIF images. libheif-js and
the linked libheif 1.19.8 and libde265 1.0.15 decoder are covered by the GNU
Lesser General Public License version 3. This build is decode-only: it does not
link the x265 HEIF encoder.

Relinking/replacement:
  The generated application loads libheif at runtime from its own
  assets/libheif-bundle-*.js module; libheif is not inlined into the worker or
  the main application module. To use a modified, interface-compatible build,
  rebuild libheif-js from the source archives and upstream build instructions,
  then replace that separately served module at the same URL. The application
  does not verify or prevent replacement. The emitted worker's dynamic import
  identifies the exact module filename for a particular release.

JetBrains Mono (Medium, subsetted)
-----------------------------------

convert.pics self-hosts a single-weight, printable-ASCII-only subset of
JetBrains Mono (Medium) for numeral/data display (file sizes, quality
percentages, the proof-panel log — see docs/design/design-system.md §3.1).
The subset was produced from upstream commit 19371302 (2025-01-31, the
`master` HEAD at the time of subsetting; version string "2.305") with
fonttools' pyftsubset, keeping only U+0020-007E and dropping hinting —
the exact recipe is recorded in docs/design/design-system.md §3.1 and
docs/design/implementation-notes.md. JetBrains Mono is licensed under the
SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1; the full, unmodified upstream font
sources remain available from the upstream repository at the commit named
above. Unlike the LGPL codec below, OFL does not require redistributing
buildable source alongside the site, so no source archive is checked into
this repository for it.
